FORUM WITH
SECURITY & EXCHANGE COMMISSION OF
PAKISTAN
Pakistan German Business Forum (PGBF) originally established in
1997 has now been registered with Security & Exchange Commission
of Pakistan vide its Certificate of Incorporation No. 0067389,
dated 26th August, 2008.
Spokesman of PGBF, Raj P. Solanki, stated in a statement, that
President / CEO Mr. Salahud Din Ahmed emphasized the need for a
close cooperation between the two countries; he requested to the
German Consul General for their support to market
Pakistan, as a profitable and safe
destination for larger investment from Germany and increased exports from Pakistan.
There is a desperate need to form a Pakistan - German Chamber of
Commerce in Germany, so that the Pakistani businessmen, who are
already doing their businesses in Germany, enable to focus
Pakistani products in German market more vigilantly, Salahuddin
added.
At present, the membership of PGBF has been based on 200
members, in different categories. President / CEO and all the
members Board of Directors are aimed to increase the membership
upto 500 members by end 2009.
PGBF is the second bilateral forum, who has got registered by
SECP after PJBF.
