For the German Consulate General in Karachi the Pakistan German Business Forum is one of the most important partners for the promotion of German Pakistan economic relations and for the development of German Pakistan ties in general. Not only the nearly two hundred members of PGBF - Pakistani branches of German companies, German Pakistani joint ventures and Pakistani companies with trade interests in Germany - should feel at home on this website, but also newcomers, interested in entering the Pakistani market, or wishing information on market conditions in Germany, will get there questions answered, - at least they will be shown the way to useful informations.

The German Consulate General and the PGBF are cooperating closely in providing assistance to German and Pakistani companies, wanting to do trade with eachother, and in promoting a business climate between the two countries and markets, which will allow German Pakistani economic exchanges to grow further, - from over 1,5 billion $ in 2005 to possibly close to 2 billion $ next year. Trade and investment always imply human contacts, trust in each other, and good experiences to build on and to talk about. Efficient communication is one of the secrets of such positive relations.
