The PGBF is offering a wide range of business servcies to member as well as to other industries and associations from all over the world provided their requests will comply to the articles of associations and will not conflict the PGBF complience rules as adopted. INTRODUCTION Pakistan German Business Forum was formed on the 3rd of December 1997 and does enjoy the honorable patronage and active support and co-operation of H. E. the German Ambassador to Pakistan who acts as PGBF´s Patron-in-Chief on permanent commitment, H. E. the Pakistan Ambassador to Germany as well as of the German Consul-General in at Karachi. The PGBF has incorporated more than 190 members, who are of Corporate Members (German Origin Companies), General Members (Agents of German Companies) and Associate Members (Trading Partners). To encourage and promote German investment in Pakistan and vice versa and to do all things conducive for the development of Pakistan-German Business co-operation. 2. To promote the development of trade, commerce and economic co-operation between the two countries. 3. To foster and organize trade and investment delegations, trade fairs, exhibitions, symposiums, lectures, etc, and facilitate participation in international fairs and exhibitions in the two countries. 4. To obtain, evaluate and circulate trade and investment related data, information and economic statistics among members, to publish and support publications, bulletins or any other information/material beneficial or useful in the interests of trade and investment. 5. To provide a channel of communication within the business community with the Government of Pakistan, between the Forum and representatives of the German Government. 6. To establish an independent body by Pakistani and German businessmen in order to promote interests with regard to relationship between Pakistan and Germany. 7. The PGBF offers dedicated business services to all interested companies on commercial basis, where as the members will enjoy discounted pricing, to be offered depending on their specific requests.
